How does a boutique Denver PR agency become an award-winning problem-solver for some of the world’s biggest and most dynamic organizations? (Spoiler alert: it’s not by churning out press releases.)
Communications Strategy Group (CSG®) closed out 2020 with the kind of wide-ranging industry recognition that throws a spotlight on this question. After all, when CSG launched in 2006, we were largely defined by our work with public relations.
Then the world changed, technology changed, the media changed, industries changed — and many PR agencies didn’t change.
But CSG has always been defined by an unyielding commitment to creativity and growth. We’ve been driven by a passionate belief that opportunity lies right behind every challenge. We’ve been curious to dig deep into new technologies and industries. And so we’ve continued to reinvent ourselves and the agency, day by day, year over year.
Always with an eye on tomorrow, we’ve known we must seamlessly evolve to meet today’s client needs. We also believe that now, more than ever, our clients must be armed with comprehensive strategic communications, with everything from PR and content marketing to branding and influencer relations.
From the rigor we apply to business problems to the strategic expertise we deliver across disciplines to the creative services we absolutely delight in, we call our approach Solving for Why. Our clients call it success. And the industry’s awards-givers have been taking note.
Starting 2021 on a High Note
“Many [agencies] use content marketing to boost leads and sales. Few create out-of-this-world content experiences that create brand awareness and an army of company evangelists,” stated the awards team at Find Best SEO, which named CSG one of their 10 Best Content Marketing Companies in December.
Also in December, Clutch, a B2B researcher and reviewer, added CSG to The Clutch 1000. This list measures industry leaders in the global B2B market across a number of metrics, including complexity of projects, responsiveness of customer service and quality of skill sets. The final list of 1000 companies, the research firm’s most exclusive, represents only the top one percent of B2B businesses globally.
And if we’re judged by the company we keep, then Digital.com’s list of the Best Public Relations Companies of 2020 sets a high bar. Digital.com’s PR agency reviews are the result of over 40 hours of research on 75+ PR firms. With only 16 agencies selected for their top award, the final list gathers together some of the most illustrious names in the field, including Edelman, Ogilvy, FleishmanHillard, Weber Shandwick—and CSG.
With a team of under 50 compared to FleishmanHillard team of 2,700+ or Edelman’s 7,000+, are we punching a bit above our weight? Maybe! But that feistiness is part of what propels a boutique Denver PR agency to the top ranks of global strategic communications providers today.
And as we look ahead to the new year, you can be sure we’re not resting on any laurels. We’re too eager to meet the new opportunities that await us all at CSG in 2021.
